DescriptionHey there,
The client is unable to upload a file without one already existing.
Similar problem to discussions ... to maintain best communication channels clients should be able to upload files and start discussions in their project area.
Under tickets, the client can create a new ticket ... should be able to to do the same for files and discussions.

Asked about this in early 2015 as well ... forgot I'd already asked for it ;)

There is no ability for clients to upload files or start a discussion in the projects area ... but they are set to be able to do this in the tickets area.

Is there a switch or ability for the clients to be able to add their files / start discussions in their projects and I'm just missing it ... or is this done on purpose for some reason?

The functionality for the client is limited to a few basic features. This is because our focus has been the administrative area. We hope in the future to have more of the admin area features available to the client, but at the moment the client can only be given the ability to append existing file and discussion threads.

Would be great to have the option of letting a client do this .... perhaps this is part of a larger redev of the front-end client area overall in coming version ??
