Possibly integrate an existing Chat system with the project - review the value - this may be best as an auxiliary feature.

absolutely this would be great! just starting with the integrated live chat already available would be a huge step forward since it already can push/pull client inf.

This is a great idea. It may be more reasonable to implement the Chat system for WHMCS and use that tool alongside the wbTeamPro system.

+10 for this as CLIENT & INTERNAL system ... and against ACTIONS in the client view !!!!!

ref: http://tracker.wbteampro.com/view.php?id=10090 [^] "Added the ability to create file and topic threads for actions. Implemented a new action editing system that includes tabs for the action details, timelogs, tickets, topics, and files."
-->> that added some of this in admin view *but missing on client/front-end view*

With options like Glip, Slack, Teamwork chat, etc really drawing in punters (eg. http://blog.glip.com/glip2 [^] & https://www.teamwork.com/blog/announcing-teamwork-chat/ [^]) I think the benefits of this are highly evident to the digital nomads of the world. There should also be notification summaries for unread updates at the top of the client and admin views so people can see if there are new messages for them.

I would lean towards a dependency on wbTeamPro as opposed to WHMCS ... as the value of the this system alongside the projects is much higher than standalone.

Perhaps just some enhancements to discussions for now would achieve a lot of what could be improved ... just some extra scripty goodness and a few extra bits of functionality to get some basic enhancements happening ... and a bigger rollout later?
