Summary | 0010166: Allow alter timelog note when clocking out
Description | When clocking out of a job, it would be nice to be able to alter timelog note. Sometimes you leave it empty when you clockin, but then you would like to add something important when you clockout. This would allow us to clockout when clocking in on another task and still allow us to add extra notes to clocked out job.

It seems that this could be a configuration option, whether to have a timelog modal popup every time you click "stop". The modal would have some or all of the timelog fields available for edit, and present a Stop, Apply, Save, or Close button. |

A configuration option could work out fine. The other thing I'm wondering is, when we clock in another job we have the possibility to clock out from jobs were clocked in, so either having a 2nd small modal box, or simply adding some ajax to the current modal window and add in a textarea under when clicking on the edit icon. If you have already wrote a note, it would appear in the textarea in order to save or modify the note. I think having only the note field would be more than enough, but it is your call if you want to include all the other fields also. Please view the screenshot. |

There are two areas where this will need to be implemented, one in the dialog you showed and another in the general list view. Both ideally would use the same solution, a popup with a confirmation and input field. This feature could be deactivated in the configuration to retain current operation. |
