Summary0010190: Ability for Action Dependencies, Expected Hours Budgeting, and Work Week
DescriptionTo be able to better evaluate a project time I'd prefer an option to do something similar to this:

1. Set time available for work for each assigned person - includes default hours per day, days per week, etc - for both admin(s) & client
1a. Each admin (contractor or staff member) needs to say how much time they can send our way - bit of a guess for client actions.

2. Set "Estimated Time" for each action - this is expected DURATION of time that spans from start to completion (ie, start and end dates)

3. Set "Load" for the time ... this is how many(or %) hours of work are included in the Estimated Time.
3a. If I set estimated time for two days and the default hours per day is 5 (from 1 above) then that means from two days 10 hours is available. If the load is 50% then the actual expected amount of WORK would be 5 hours.
3b. If our default was a 40 hours week, 8hr/day and 5 day/week and we specified 2 weeks as the "Estimated Time" for an action and the load was 5% then our expected work load would be 4 hours (or 5% of two weeks worth of work at 80 hours).

4. Ability to just set start or end date .... the other value would auto-calculate based on estimated time and load.

5. If no date is specified, then the dates would be calculated as within the parent action dates (start date).

6. Having the dependencies in the hierarchy allows us to see when some actions are waiting for others to complete before being able to continue with others - such as task 1 needs completion before starting on task 2. Having this and the above time/load factors will make this tool absolutely AWESOME.

7. We would then be able to report on expected finish date, overall hours expected and also any issues/conflicts/corrections required/auto-correct (recalculate without conflicts) within our projects and actions.
